P-Dawg Surf, Perry Morrison, Tige’ Boats, NXTLVL Marine and Liquid Force present the 8th annual Tige’ Tuesday Kids Surf Free – There are 6 spots available for students every Tuesday from 5:00-7:00. Students (Age 9-15) are eligible to participate in (2) total classes each season. All equipment and instruction provided. Students to wear swimsuit gear and may bring their own personal life jacket if they would like. Students to meet promptly at Big Daddy’s Shipstore, located at Scott’s Landing Marina for pickup. Students are required to be accompanied by (1) adult/parent and boat will return around 7:30 pm. A waiver is also required to be signed by adult.
At the age of 7, Grapevine/Southlake local Perry Morrison, discovered the excitement of wakesurfing on his first lesson at DFW Surf. On his 9th birthday his parents surprised him with his very first hand shaped wakesurf board. By the age of 10, after nearly 3 years of surfing lessons and top place finishes in Amateur wakesurfing contests, Perry signed a sponsorship deal with Tige’ Boats. So far it has been an amazing journey for Perry who has experienced more to life than just wakesurfing including new friendships and growth as an individual. Perry wants other students at his school and nearby to get involved in something new and exciting like he has and what better way to do so than to create a FREE weekly program. “The goal is to get more families involved and the sport of wakesurfing is something that the whole family can do,” says Matt Edmonson with NXTLVL Marine.
